June 24, 2019. A Nigerian man dies in detain in the Omura Immigration detention Center, Nagasaki. One refugee woman visits Nagasaki in search of the truth. Her name is Elizabeth, also from Nigeria. For 17 years, Elizabeth has been involved in relief work, meeting with people held at immigration facilities. She has detained in such facilities on two occasions herself, and “understands the suffering painfully well”. She talks with people who knew the man, the human rights violations of the authorities gradually become clear. She learns the man has younger brothers and goes to visit him.
