After his graduation from the Visual Arts College of Osaka in 2002, his directorial debut of a feature film, Lullaby (2002), won the second prize at the Kyoto International Student Film & Video Festival. His second feature film, Good Girl (2006), was screened and highly regarded at the Pia Film Festival. His first feature documentary film, Line, was a winner of the Cult Award at the 2009 Torino Film Festival. His second feature documentary, The Cat That Lived a Million Times (2012), was premiered at the Busan International Film Festival. The film was also showcased at numerous international film festivals including the Dubai International Film Festival, Torino Film Festival, and Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema. THE LEGACY OF FRIDA KHALO(15)​ also ​has been Screened in International film festivals all over the world, such as HotDocs, ​Jeonju International Film Festival, Guadalajara International Film Festival, and so on.  Tamaran Hill(19)  premiered at the FIDMarseille

 Atsushi SUWA

Born in 1967. He was awarded a two-year residency in Spain through the Japanese Government Overseas Study Program for Artists provided by the Agency for Cultural Affairs in 1994.

In 1995, he became the first Asian artist to receive the blue ribbon at the 5th InternationalPainting Competition, presented by the Foundation Barcelo in Mallorca, Spain, and started his painter's carrier.

Since 1994 he has been holding solo exhibitions in galleries and museums in Japan and overseas, such as 

Gallery Naruyama in Tokyo, Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery in Hong Kong etc...

When he figures out the model, he intervenes in the subject’s personal history and expresses not only social issues but also historical issues holding themselves. Habitually he does the excessive coverage activity for the painting, sometimes he tries to make the project of the whole painting production process and that specific production approach is attract attention. 2018, he became a professor at Musashino Art University.
